Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

What I personally find the hardest to draw is feet and hands. I found that with a lot of practice and a lot of frustrating mistakes my feet and hands actually look at the very least almost the way i want them to be.
Now my favorite Style of drawing is Anime or sometimes semi-realism, and i find that by doing studies of the more traditional style realism actually helps improve my anime pictures greatly. For instance i would practice drawing my hands and feet in different positions holding different things and from different angles. I also find it extremely helpful while i'm drawing and i'm having a particularly hard time drawing a hand or a foot in a certain position i will stop for a

Don't worry, Im not leaving Deviant Art totally but I have decided to leave nearly all groups, and no longer submit my work to any of them.

I have been thinking long and hard about this and I truly believe the lack of activity on here is due to groups.
Even I get annoyed at seeing the same image appear in my watch list many times - many groups feature the same image.

My thought process is this, if I want to watch an artist or models work then I will add a watch to their profile.
I do not see why "Groups" should get the credit (and watches) for featuring other peoples work.

OK, I know that by adding my work to groups then my work is more likely to be seen by a wider audience, but I already have 13,000 watchers of my work. Of them, only a handful every comment or fave my work.

I really do appreciate every comment that my watchers make on my work and make every effort to reply to every one.

I was coming to a similar conclusion myself recently while pondering the value of the abundance of art. I think when your inbox constantly fills up with it, like it so quickly does with Monofacture, it lessens the impact of otherwise good work. I believe in quality not quantity. The Nazis that run these groups sometimes state laws saying they don't accept photomanips (which is fair enough) but then I find that they do. They can kiss my arse

I feel you. Activity has become pretty stagnant since the groups took off. But at the same time, I've noticed that nothing at all happens with my deviations if I don't submit them to at least a few groups. And I have 1,000 watchers. I don't know what's up with that.

What you say makes a lot of sense. On the flip side. I also watch select groups BECAUSE favorite artist submit stuff there and the group submits similar things. I think it's the volume of submissions some groups let through that is killing it. Maybe that's just me. Best wishes in all you do

As long as you take photos your work is always going to be known fella, I use to live in HW and the talk of the town photography wise was you, and while I was working as part of the Henley regatta photographers I was looking at doing some studio/dungeon photos and your work was part of the reason I wanted to try it out.
I remember seeing a picture you did of Roodle and being blown away and if it wasn't for the confident factor I would love to be able to do a shoot like an of yours.
